Časopis pro Moderní Filologii

ISSN: 0862-8459
Časopis pro Moderní Filologii was established in 1911 and ever since played an important role in the development of Czech linguistics. Although the contributions are in Czech or Slovak, with abstracts mostly in English, the subject matter of the articles and reviews is drawn from the English, Romance and Germanic languages. The journal focuses on the crossroads of linguistics research and neighbourly scientific disciplines, such as translatology, contact linguistics, or cross-cultural studies.
